March 2011: LFC Alumni partnered with the Frederick County Chamber of Commerce to present "Charter Government 101," a breakfast program at Ceresville Mansion. Over 80 attendees learned more about the form of government and how it may impact Frederick County's future.

March 2011: LFC Class of 2011 participants visited Annapolis to learn more about State Government. Lt. Governor Anthony Brown visited with the class and provided an update on the Governor's priorities.

January 2011: LFC Class of 2011 participants recently visited and toured the Maryland State Police helicopter hanger at the Frederick Airport. First Sergeant Joe George, medic, and Russell Zullick, III, pilot, hosted Public Safety Day, one of several all-day sessions held during the 9-month community leadership development program.
