Welcome to Immatics Campus Sternwarte in Tübingen, Germany! Immatics officially opened the doors to its new, expansive 2,500 m2 facility with a special inauguration event. We had the pleasure of welcoming esteemed guests, including the Minister-President of Baden-Württemberg, Winfried Kretschmann, the mayor of Tübingen, Boris Palmer, alongside distinguished biotech and business professionals from the community. Tübingen is a part of Immatics’ DNA, being the place where the company was founded as a spinout from the Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen. Since then, this site has grown to include 250+ dedicated team members. We are thrilled to have the opportunity to deepen our roots in this wonderful community. The opening of our new campus signifies a significant milestone for Immatics, bringing us closer to our mission of improving the lives of cancer patients. A year ago, we made the decision to leave our 510 S. Market Street location for a variety of reasons, but mostly that the owner was selling the property. So the #journey began to find a new home for our offices. We looked all over #FrederickMD as well as a few places outside of Frederick to be honest, but something was keeping us here. A reason...a purpose. We knew we wanted to stay in Frederick and we knew we wanted to be downtown. But why? Well, our partner, Dr. Christopher Nichols, summed it up quite nicely during our ribbon cutting yesterday.
