  • Hello everyone, We hope you're enjoying a fantastic summer! Can you believe it's already August? We've got some exciting news to share with you all. Please join us in welcoming Bobby Harris as the new Director of Operations at FIA Interpreting! Bobby's deep passion for bridging the gap between the Deaf/HoH and Hearing communities will play a crucial role in propelling FIA Interpreting towards our goal of ensuring every Deaf/HoH individual receives full access to communication through high-quality interpreting services. Bobby holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Rochester Institute of Technology focusing on Criminal Justice and a minor in Psychology. Bobby strives to help build the bridge between the deaf and the hearing communities. Bobby has many years of experience working with interpreters, teaching ASL to the community, etc. He has gained many years of leadership experience from being involved in Eagle Scouts, interning with the Frederick City Police Department, and ASL Coordinator for the Maryland Deaf Community Center. Bobby is very passionate and active about giving back to the community. He has the ability to overcome barriers and find solutions which serves as a testament to his outstanding character and friendly personality. As Director of Operations, Bobby will be leading our wonderful team of 4 staff interpreters and overseeing all the operations at FIA Interpreting.
