Last Thursday, Goodwill held a Lunch with Leadership where team members connected with Leadership, engaged in conversation, and enjoyed a meal together. Leadership in attendance included: Michael J Ward, VP of Asset Protection and Organizational Risk Holly Schor, VP of Mission Services and Leadership Development John Andrews, SVP and CFO Katrina Thurman, SVP of Impact Strategy and Executive Communications Amy Lyons, Director of Community Engagement Kimberly Stouffer, Director Support Operations The event was an incredible opportunity for our team members to gain insight from leadership and better understand how we are empowering individuals, strengthening families, and building stronger communities through our services.

Last week, Goodwill team members celebrated Spirit Week, which culminated in our quarterly “Cookie Visit,” an event where Goodwill leadership shares the latest updates to the organization. In addition to connecting with leaders, our team members dressed up according to different themes each day (such as twin day!) and competed in a foam finger decoration contest. Paige is bringing her vast experience in human services and an immense passion for helping her community to our growing team. “I love my job because I love my community. Growing up as a Frederick native, I strive to pour into the community that poured into me. I joined the Goodwill Team because I value their vision to end poverty through the power of work. I grew up in a single-parent household and am now a single parent myself. While our community has many strengths, there are deficits and those deficits have impacted my family.
