"Tenants who elect to come back into the office need to have a good reason for doing so, added Sarah Brooks, senior associate with GTM Architects... "The No. 1 thing we think about is, how do we make this more of a seamless transition of working in the office as opposed to working at home?” Brooks said. “People have things at their fingertips when they work from home. We want to provide that when you go into an office building—where you have that same flexibility and multiple levels of privacy.”" #architecture #design #commercialinteriors #officedesign #gtmarchitects

Congratulations to the whole project team on this recently completed National Office for Generation Hope. So wonderful to see the stunning results and positive response! #commercialinteriors #teamcollaboration #gtmarchitects
Yesterday we got to attend the Grand Opening of the new National Office for Generation Hope. We have worked with Nicole Lynn Lewis and her team for on several of her spaces as she continues to grow this wonderful organization. The staff's response to the office space is why I became a designer. It was overwhelming to see how happy they were! Congrats to Nicole and Generation Hope. And thanks for letting us be part of your journey! #nowopen GTM Architects - Shaina Mae Figueroa, Alexandra Ruiz, & Amy Lowen Omega Engineering, PLLC Atlantic Corporate Interiors - Laura Platt Evans & Susan Combs-Foushee Keen Technologies Group ADI Construction of Virginia LLC CBRE - Ezra Weinblatt Douglas Development Corporation - Justin Myers

“According to Mary Cardello, an associate at GTM Architects, the Crooked Run design team found additional inspiration from two sources. Scandinavian design influenced the colors and finishes, including warm wood tones in the furniture and copper tones elsewhere. German and Belgian beer houses inspired the general flow and open feel of the space, as well as key lighting elements… “Everything is oriented around [the bar],” Cardello says. “As you start your experience from the exterior, from the sidewalk in the neighborhood, we really wanted to capture and draw you in.”” Read more at restaurant development + design magazine #architecture #design #resaurantdesign #districtofcolumbia #commercialarchitecture #brewery #gtmarchitects
